Ian Corcoran

Chair of Trustees

Ian has had a distinguished media career, with over 20 years at the BBC working in Drama, Art, News and Current Affairs, including Panorama, the flagship investigative programme. He then went freelance, working on current affairs documentaries for Channel 4, Discovery, Sky, Reuters, Saudi TV and the BBC. He has continued to use his media expertise to further the work of IofC, including in the production of films in Bosnia, the Czech Republic, France, India and Nigeria.
Before joining the BBC, Ian was for 15 years a full-time volunteer for Moral Re-Armament (MRA), which developed into IofC. His parents also gave many years of voluntary service to MRA, so Ian brings to the board a profound understanding of the history and traditions of this charity and of the global movement it relates to.
Ian’s Christian faith is central to his calling with IofC. He also serves on the parish council in his Sussex village.
