Think Tank 720 and Initiatives of Change hosted a conference on widening women leadership and participation within BAME communities.
The event hosted women leaders from the BAME community to understand the obstacles and barriers faced, and how it can be improved in order to raise aspiration, participation and progression in the labour market.
The event created a unique opportunity to address the multi-faceted challenges faced by certain groups and found new inspired and practical ways to drive personal change and professional development.
Speakers across the public, voluntary and private sector shared their story, offered hands-on advice, practical steps, and coaching on how to adapt to the ‘new norm’ in times of change.
