Margaret Cosens

Margaret was brought up on a West Australian wheat and sheep farm. Her pre-university gap year as a volunteer with IofC turned into a gap-30-years, mainly in India, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and UK. In 1997 she gained employment in the NHS, becoming Project and Programme Manager for the implementation and development of IT Integrated Patient Care Systems, and later moving to a company supplying IT systems to the NHS. She retired from paid employment in August 2018.

Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy

Lusa is an ordained Anglican priest who recently moved to be the first Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Mission and Ministry Enabler for Leicester Diocese. He was previously Vicar of St Aidan’s, Gravesend, Kent in the Diocese of Rochester. He is married and has a daughter. His involvement with IofC initially came as a result of participating in the Faith in Leadership programme. Lusa’s forebears come from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and he has Belgian citizenship.

Joanna Sciortino-NowlanNathalie Chavanne

Nathalie has been part of IofC teams promoting dialogue and trust between people of different cultures and generations in French- speaking Africa and northern African Arab countries.

In France, with Tunisian colleagues, she developed the programme Initiative Dialogue. In the decade following September 11th, 2001, she was involved in a French programme, Education à la Paix and in 2017 she became a facilitator on a programme called Oui Act. Nathalie has been on the Board of Trustees for IofC UK since 2015.

Gerry Doherty

Gerry Doherty is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and Company Director, and a life-long resident of Derry, Northern Ireland. He has over 36 years’ post-qualification experience in industry, and has held commercial managerial roles at board level, specialising in company growth development, and acquisitions and divestitures. Gerry has extensive experience in the aerospace, automotive, energy, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. Gerry has a great passion for producing positive results for companies, and currently provides strategic guidance in support of SME company development.

Gerry has been happily married for over 33 years to childhood sweetheart Siobhan, a highly dedicated primary school teacher. They have two children; Ethan, a specialist doctor, and Sophie, who is a chemical engineer. In his spare time, Gerry is a keen long-distance runner, holds a life-long interest in music, and is a dedicated supporter of Derry’s Foyle Hospice.
