Marking International Day of Peace 2022

We collaborated with the Little Big Peace Event and Celebrate Life to host an evening reception, screening and spirited discussion focused on the increasing rates of crime and violence in London. See Vox pop interviews and the short highlights video. Read here.

Judith Henderson celebrates her 90th birthday

To celebrate, read Judith’s inspiring life story which has involved receiving the Queen’s award for her outstanding contributions to voluntary service. It speaks perfectly of the necessity to trust yourself and follow your beliefs to lead you to the most fulfilling experiences.

Lives Remembered

Since our last newsletter was issued in July, we have sadly lost the following members of the fellowship who have dedicated their lives to our organisation to drive positive change in the world. Let’s take a moment to remember them and read their obituaries: Barbara Guilbride, Alan ChapmanKirstin Channer and Maisie Poulton (an obituary for Maisie will be available soon).

In July this year, RRB™ launched its first full iteration of its Curriculum for training refugees. Click here to view. It includes a detailed explanation of the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels of the programme. If you know someone who could benefit from this training, please share these details and ask them to register their interest. 

Creators of Peace UK hosted final President’s Lunch with Amina Dikedi-Ajakaiye

On Saturday 30th July, International Friendship Day, Initiatives of Change UK and Creators of Peace UK hosted a President’s Day in honour of Amina Dikedi-Ajakaiye, who has this year stepped down after six years as the Creators of Peace’s International President.
